Panthella Floor Light in Chrome and Grey Shade by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen
Beautiful first 1970s edition of the iconic Panthella floor lamp by Danish designer Verner Panton for manufacturer Louis Poulsen. The inspiration is drawn from the mushroom-shaped atomic bomb clouds of WWII. The base of the light is chrome plated with the switch integrated in the base. This is typical only for the first productions, the later production is smaller in diameter and have an external switch on the wire. With the right bulb the three-stage switch functions to provide 3 different light intensities; 60W and 100W and 160W
